| This movie is a mess. It has nice art direction and sets, but that?s it. It compressed the book way too much, and lynch made lots of annoying changes to the story. Cat milking anyone? Heartplugs? Rain? If you haven't read the book you will be totally confused and if you have read it then you will hate it for the changes made. Not to mention the cheesy 80s special effects and music. The only reason I can see why anyone would want to watch this is if you are a rabid Lynch fan or for nostalgias sake. |
