| If you've never heard Robert Thurman speak, it is very entertaining. Not at all the dry, boring, and sleep inducing speaker you might normally expect from a university background. This is mostly about Tibetan Buddhism specifically, and has parts that had me laughing pretty hard, and parts that are quite complex to understand. He speaks very clearly and simply, and bounces easily between telling stories and relating concepts. Very good for the total beginner and even the advanced practitioner. There's probably no American that knows more about this than Robert Thurman. |
