I will readily admit I am in the process of watching Argento films and have to say out the ones I've seen so far(inferno, susperia, phenomenon) this is a very poor substitute against those early argento films. Even Asia I didn't like in this like I did in The church. The imagry and the computer animaton used in the film almost looks cartoony and instead of the effects and camera angles adding to the films, This film they take away from it. I am happy to see argento using some computer animation stuff but believe at least in this film he hasn't gotten a handle on the process and it shows. The story does have some interesting camera angles and a few twists and turns but in the end left me unsatisfied.
