Plot? Who cares!

I watched this a while back and I was really scared because I had heard nothing but horrible things about it, yet I still wanted to see it. It's possible that I gave it such a high review because I had low expectations, I don't know. I do know that I love all of the actors in this film, except for Ben Stiller who I don't care for much, and they all are good as ever. You should be expecting silliness, but it's good. I especially love the Tom Waits character. I remember really enjoying this film.

Good characters, crap plot.

Being a longtime Flaming Carrot fan, I was excited for this film to hit the theaters but I ended up getting scared off by the reviews. This was a mistake, but it wasn't necessarily mine. The reviews followed the standard dictum not to give away the plot, but they did give away all of the quirky details of the character's super powers and their bizarre origin stories. This was wrong-headed since the details of this film are hilariously funny but the plot is of the "who cares" variety. Still "The Specials" is much better and more true to itself.

Even mindess, yet still a waste of time

It is unbelieve to see the great talent wasting in this turkey. And then this also where I learned to hate Ben Stiller. Keep in the lower 500 of your queue, if you must. But there is so much better things to see.
