FfF was moderately entertaining. I loved all the shock-meat that was tossed around. Winn Dixie must have had a steak sale that weekend. Though an interesting twist on a classic, the twists were dully predicatable. The un-reality of the events and barely passable special effects were further negatively enforced by Dallesandro's North American accent and taxi-driver persona that was thrust right into the 18th century German maw. In the end, it turned out to be embarassingly desperate for a gasp that I was really reluctant to inhale. Bring it out for your cheese-fest Halloween party but otherwise, keep it at a rental.
