| Our poor pals on the Satellite of Love get us through this utter nonsense from the late 60s about a guy who picks up a waitress in a roadside diner, takes her to Hollywood with promises of fame and fortune, and succeeds... in getting her a gig as a go-go dancer at a sleazy club alongside his drugged-out sister. Meanwhile, a sinister gang of generic bad guys [tm] is involved. Lots of go-go booty shaking and some hilariously bad music (although not as bad as the folk songs in Eegah!), and a bunch of great riffs, make this a good, not great MST3K episode. Think "Showgirls" of 60s zero budget go-go movies. It's worth it just to see Crow shake his moneymaker in one memorable skit, as well as Tom Servo singing a great riff at the end, and the "Icky Elf guy" who really is..icky. |
