Synopsis
Director Matt Green and renowned makeup-artist-turned-actor Tom Savini teamed up a mere year after their first outing together, 2002's Blood Bath, for another straight-to-DVD horror flick. Vicious finds Savini playing a mysterious government agent who has been placed in charge of a top-secret military experiment gone horribly awry. The fruit of the experiment is a blood-thirsty beast that feeds on humans. When an unsuspecting group of teens happen upon the forest home of the agent and his "pet," they find themselves on the creature's menu. Brian Bremer and Leigh Hill also star. ~ Matthew Tobey, All Movie Guide

Great marketing, bad movie! by Emosjrny January 26, 2004 - 5:54 PM PST

Something's really wrong when your movie (supposedly) stars Tom Savini, Bill Moseley and Brinke Stevens and it utterly sucks. Truth to tell, the shamefully under-used Savini has what is more like a supporting role, Moseley sleep-walks through his three scenes and Stevens is killed even before her name appears in the opening credits! Oddly enough the movie actually has c.g.i. though it looks about as good as pong compared to most of today's video games. A "been there, seen that" storyline with the most mundane dialogue and supremely lame creature FX. NEEEEEEEEEEEEEXT!!!
