Okay. I know that the old time college theme has been done before, but I think you should give this one a try. 'Mona Lisa Smile' is an interesting look at what it meant to be an educated woman in the early 50s. There were a couple of moments where I had to force my mouth shut because of the blatant portrayal of "the role of a woman". What a pleasure it was to see Kirsten Dunst in a "witchy" role. How refreshing it was to see Julia Roberts in a role that wasn't about something love-sick. I never really cared for Maggie Gylenhaal before this movie, though I still think she's not pretty... anyway, she kind of reminded me of Angelina Jolie in 'Girl, Interrupted'. For a movie that will make you glad that you're a 2000s Woman..see this one!
