The Beatles as bait?

The Beatles are really the subtext of this fine documentary. How many of us would check this out if it were billed as a movie about Tony Sheridan? and a few others who were beginning to play rock-and-roll in England and Germany? The Beatles obviously went on to greater and more creative things. But it is very interesting to get a real feel for how they started and how others at the time -- more popular or well-known -- contributed to their growth. And it is fun to listen to Tony Sheridan who sounds very much like Elvis. The influence of Ray Charles, Buddy Holly and a host of others are well documented. All in all a very good watch and listen!
