Realizing that Elizabeth is not dead but merely in a coma, Barnabas (Jonathan Frid) keeps this information secret, going so far as to "bury" Elizabeth to keep her from harm. He then announces his intention to take Maggie (Kathryn Leigh Scott), David (David Henesy), and Amy (Denise Nickerson) to Boston -- but the ghostly Quentin Collins has other plans.
