Northern Exposure was my favorite TV show while it was on, and I've been waiting for it to be released on DVD. I'm glad to finally see it. In the first season, you can see the beginning of the character development that made it so great at its peak.
Disc 1 has four episodes: "Northern Exposure (pilot)," "Brains, Know How and Native Intelligence," "Soapy Sanderson," and "Dreams, Schemes and Putting Greens."
There are deleted scenes from each episode (although not in story order, which bugged me) and "unexposed footage", flubbed lines. There's also video documentary footage from the Soapy Sanderson episode. (This isn't a documentary about Northern Exposure, it's a documentary being made within the story.)
For some reason, though, each disc is two sided, with two episodes and some extras per side. |
