Kyo is an excellent swimmer and he really loves the sport, but there aren't enough students like him at his school, so the team is about to be shut down by the student council. Desperate to keep it going, Kyo asks Misaki, the prettiest girl in school, to appear in a video he's shooting in the hopes of appealing the Student Council's decision, and she agrees - on one condition: he has to pilot a mech. Kyo is understandably taken aback, but he finds jumping into the cockpit oddly familiar, and now looks like he might be joining Celebrum, a resistance organization pitted against evil aliens who are forming Deutera Areas all over Earth.
