Robert Louis Stevenson's classic tale gets a rather dramatic overhaul in this adults-only horror opus. Dr. Chris Leeder (Jack Buddliner), a sleazy physician who fancies himself a ladies' man, discovers the lost notebooks of Dr. Henry Jekyll and decides to pick up where the late doctor's experiments left off. Leeder's variation on Jekyll's formula has an unusual twist -- it turns him into a beautiful woman (Jane Tsentas). "Miss Hide," however, is no better mannered than her male counterpart, and as "she" pursues Leeder's lovely assistant (Rene Bond) and a sailor on leave who's had one too many, it becomes obvious that the female Hyde has both lust and murder on her mind -- which is bad news for Dr. Leeder's fiancée (Jennifer Brooks). | Okay, so this movie is not AS BAD as the other reviews. It's not the best plot, but it's definitely not as bad as other movies out there. The acting isn't great, but again, not horrible either. People looking for an erotic film or basic horror film will both be disappointed, as the movie is not meant to be sexually charged, but goes beyond basic horror too. |

| We turned this movie off very early in. The reviews I read gave no hint to the brutality in this movie. We like bad movies, so that's not the thing I'm complaining about. However, there's a scene early in that is cruel and violent, and if you're not expecting it, it might upset you. I know it did me. |

| Sadly, there is no lower rating for this inane and stupid movie. The acting, sound, sets, plot, and direction are carefully combined to produce what may be the worst supposed pornographic film I have ever seen. There is nothing erotic about it (even the actors don't show any stimulation!) and after boring the viewer for seemingly endless minutes, a "display" of unreadable ads for dirty stories are flashed on the screen to fill out the time. Why? The best use of such a video would be to provide some light when ignited; except that it is so poor that it probably would not burn. Don't waste your time or $$. |
