This animated fantasy saga from Japan follows the leader Ashram as he and his people search for a home in the wake of a long and bloody war. Ashram is hoodwinked into selling his soul, and three centuries later Piroteese, one of his loyal followers, still searches for him in the spiritual kingdom of Crystania. With the help of a warrior prince named Redon, Piroteese leads a raid against the ruler of Crystania, the evil Barbas, in a desperate attempt to free Ashram's soul once and for all. A Great Addition To The Lodoss Saga by valhalla April 23, 2004 - 12:18 PM PDT

This movie is a must for any fans of the Lodoss series. Set after the Chronicles of the Heroic Knight. This tale focuses on the dark knight Ashram and his Elven girlfriend Pirotesse as they lead the people of Marmo to a place where the can living in saftey and hapiness. A great stand alone movie without having to watch the 2 Lodoss Wars series to understand everything going on.
