although with not many episodes leading up to the ending that you could kind of tell would happen.. this dvd was packed with surprises and definitely had a bit of a cliffhanger at the end.. gotta love the scenes between peter and father mac... very much a old school vs new school of thought. plus the celtic festival episode.. priceless

great beginning to a series by reflections July 19, 2005 - 6:20 AM PDT

being a sucker for tv series like this.. when i first started watching ballykissangel.. it reminded me a lot of northern exposure... minus the snow of course. just all the eccentric townspeople and the newcomer to the village. and the looks between assumpta and peter... perfect leading up to what i imagine is gonna be a great character arc for the priest.
i would definitely of enjoyed seeing this show when if first came out.. but at least on dvd..i don't have to wait a week for the next show.. good stuff.
